Manufacturing
Process

The arrangement of two fixed coils wound on a core is known as a Transformer. A transformer is an electric device, without mechanically moving parts, for transferring electric energy from one or more circuits to one or more other circuits by electromagnetic induction.

Core Cutting & Core Assembly

The Cold Rolled Grain Oriented (CRGO) laminations used in transformers are of high quality. They are in the form of thin sheets (manufactured by silicon iron sheets that is passed from cold roll and grain oriented in magnetic field) and they are cut as per the design varying for different capacities of transformers, according to Customer Demand. Transformer Core is formed from M 4, M 5, M 3, MoH, ZDKH or ZDMH quality grade. The dimensional accuracy is maintain with assurance of minimum burr level. The process of building core is generally manually stack wise arrangement of sheets on metal frame parts.

Windings

Low or High Voltage Winding Conductor is either Copper or Aluminum and the windings are made of in the form of foil or paper insulated flattened type. Both High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) windings are done using Coil Winding Machines. The Copper or Aluminium strips/wires used in winding are meticulously selected for its quality to give the best output.

Core Coil Assembly

The wound coils are placed carefully in the assembled core. Insulations are given wherever required using materials like press board. The CORE bolt and tie rods are fixed in position. The Primary and Secondary windings are connected as per the requirement. The complete assembly is kept in the Hot Air Chamber and a high temperature is maintained to prevent any moisture in the CORE coil assembly.
